Your tax-deductible donation can help make it happen!
Thank You!!!

 We are working with public and private organizations and persons in the County on plans to include tourism, education, and economic development opportunities at the old School Board office and Charlotte Elementary School (originally the high school) site. Would your group like to be included with a donation? Do you have ideas or plans for use of these buildings?

Friends of the Museum have already donated enough funds to make the downpayment and paid for insurance and titling fees. We have the deed! Your donation will help us to complete the purchase of the buildings and to begin our search of renovation funding. The Museum of Charlotte County is a 501-3c organization; donations are tax-deductible.

Get involved!
This is an exciting and fun opportunity!
  • Contribute to the purchase of the old buildings;
  • Contribute ideas for uses of the renovated spaces;
  • Help us organize special exhibits and events for now, before the building is renovated;
  • Lend us your special expertise, or
  • Invite us to present to your group.
  • We'd especially like the presentation to include input from your group about plans for the renovated buildings.
