Charlotte County is served by a volunteer rescue squad. The main Charlotte County Rescue Squad building is located in Keysville. In addition, a satellite office that serves the southern part of the County is located in Wylliesburg and the Phenix Volunteer Fire Department houses a squad unit to better serve citizens in the western portion of the county.
